"THE SOWER'S GRACE" SHORT AT PICFF (NEW MEDIA FEST) 2010

(Phoenix, AZ)  August 2010 -- The Rejoice! Studios team is again honored to have its short movie "The Sower's Grace"  included as a Selected Film at another film festival - the 2010 Phoenix Int'l Christian Film Festival (PICFF).  This modern-day story is based on the Parable of the Sower and each character represents a type of "soil" that is tested prior to planting.  In the end, what kind of Harvest will the Sower reap?  The approximately 24-minute short along with bloopers and trailers will soon be available at the studios' website www.RejoiceStudios.com.  ###

"THE SOWER'S GRACE" SHORT AT ATTIC FILM FEST 2009

(Phoenix, AZ)  March 2009 -- Rejoice! Studios was honored to have its first short movie entitled "The Sower's Grace"  accepted as a Selected Film at the Attic Film Fest in Austin, Texas.  This modern-day story based on the Parable of the Sower stars local songstress and thespian Amy Runte (Wyatt) and also features Elizabeth Correia, Nicholas Lin, Laura Correia, Glenn Turnbull, Brian Musick, Brigitte Fischer and Daniel DeLaTorre, as well as a host of talented local extras.  Each character represents a type of "soil" that is tested prior to planting and the eventual Harvest at the end of time.  The 24-minute short will soon be available at the studios' website www.RejoiceStudios.com.  ###

CASTING CALL FOR REJOICE! STUDIOS' SHORT MOVIE PRODUCTION

(Phoenix, AZ)  March 2008 -- Auditions for various roles in Rejoice! Studios' short movie production, "The Sower's Grace," will begin in April 2008.  The casting call for local talent went out throughout the Greater Phoenix area.  Although a few roles have already been secured, all age-ranges and types are being sought for this ethnically diverse cast.  Those of Native-American descent are needed for key featured roles.  Crew positions are also being filled.  Principal photography is slated to begin in June 2008, and production will continue throughout the summer.  Contact the casting director at www.RejoiceStudios.com to schedule auditions and interviews, to be held at their casting office in the neighboring city of Scottsdale.  ###

REJOICE! STUDIOS BEGINS PRE-PRODUCTION ON SHORT MOVIE

(Phoenix, AZ)  February 2008 -- The Rejoice! Studios team is busily preparing to shoot their first short movie, tentatively titled, "The Sower's Grace," a modern-day story based on the Biblical Parable of the Sower as told by Jesus Christ.  Although the studio heads have been involved in the video, television and radio industry for over 20 years, they began writing short and feature-length screenplays in 2002.  This will be their first attempt at independent movie production.  "It's very different from video and television production, with many different procedures," said production director Danny Lin.  "It will be low-budget with a small local cast & crew.  Nonetheless, we look forward to the challenge the Lord has called us to perform."  Although a few actors have already been cast, a casting call to fill the remaining roles will to out soon to the Greater Phoenix area.  More details to be released later.  ###
